My definition paper is on a group that doesn't get much positive publicity. When was the last time you heard of a "stoner" that was shown in a good light? Fortunately, I know that the perception of the stoner culture is ridiculous. To help me with this project, I asked a few people I knew to do a small interview. I talked to both stoners, and non smokers to get both sides of the story. When asked what they thought of when they heard the word "stoner", non smokers said such things as "lazy" or "unmotivated", while stoners said "chill", "creative", and "lazy". So one of the stoners did know he was lazy but he stated that it didn't effect him after the marijuana wore off.
The articles I've found on the B.C. Databases are all about self expression because that's the thing that most stoners agree with.
